Who We Are
Tharseo Counseling Services was founded around one idea: hope through a relationship with Jesus Christ. With hope comes the possibility of change, growth, and purpose. Without it, we can feel isolated, burdensome, and despairing. Tharseo exists for two reasons: First, to help the hopeless find their source of hope in Christ, which allows them to walk securely through life with conviction and purpose. Secondly, Tharseo assists those already with that hope to navigate obstacles that threaten to misalign them from their known purpose. We do this by combining biblical principles and practical application.
Who We Serve
Tharseo’s vision is to be a resource to any who are in need of spiritual and personal growth. We understand that the sanctifying process of the Holy Spirit in transforming our hearts and minds does not necessarily mean the absence of pain and difficulty, but rather that God has a purpose for each of us in spite of and even in the midst of that hardship. Tharseo seeks to assist those who are looking to find joy and fulfillment in their day to day experiences, especially as they pursue God’s sovereign plan for their lives, by integrating the Truth of Scripture with practical daily living.
Our Philosophy
The inerrant and absolutely authoritative Word of God is the foundation of Tharseo’s approach to wellness. Because we can rely on the Truth of the Bible for the wisdom to live our lives well, our aim is to illuminate what Scripture says, accurately interpret with our clients how the Bible applies to their lives, and integrate that Truth with daily life at a practical and individual level. This process leads to spiritual, emotional, and behavioral change.
